  1. Thanks, I'll check him out ? . Any more recommendations?
  2. Is Spider still in business? I like his sss097 vintage: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Allow me to introduce my first wife, a Breitling Navitimer World on an Ocean Racer strap. She will never be sold nor replaced, I imagine one day my biggest dilemma will be which one of my sons I'll leave this watch to... I have the stainless bracelet which comes out for black tie events, but I've decided to find a custom leather strap to pair with her. Some of the strap/watch combinations posted on RWG are fantastic, so I'm putting it out there to see if you guys can recommend a leather strap fit for this watch. I'd also like to pair the deployant clasp from the Ocean Racer with the new leather strap. Thanks for taking the time [emoji108] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I know diddly squat about the movement, but I thought I'd post to comment on how stunning that watch looks. Classy, elegant, unique. I'm at the beginning of this watch making/building hobby and this type of watch keeps me inspired [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hey guys, saw this post and thought I'd provide some feedback. I've purchased once from Josh, order placed on 19th Dec, order arrived on 6th Jan. Tracking details worked perfectly, email communication quick. Product was impressive, I'm currently testing the power reserve and we're past 24 hours [emoji106]. He emails QC photos once the watch is sourced. I've just placed a second order from him and look forward to receiving it. I've recommended him to a friend, so far so good! 7. Hey Legend, coincidence you start this thread with that Daytona, I've been eying up the exact same one. Great looking piece. When did you get it? Happy with the quality and accuracy? I think that watch would look great with a variety of straps too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ok great, I emailed the dealer for the Panerai to ask about it's waterproofing: "All watches from my ends are pressure tested for 1 to 3 ATM before delivery .. Just ensure that caseback and crown is tighten before you take a dip with it." Once I get the watch I'll post a few pics on this thread and make an assessment on whether to send it to a smith for waterproofing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. That would be great! Are there any U.K. based smiths on here who I could send the watch to? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Sogeha, thanks the great insight. I was leaning towards the Panerai anyway, since I already own a speedy. The Pan looks like a beautiful rep, there's a link at the bottom of the page for some higher res photos. Last question, do you think it will be waterproof? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hi guys, this is my first post on the forum, I've had a good scout around and really like the look of this little 'hobby' that y'all have! There seem to be some great minds with expert knowledge. I own a gen Breitling Naitimer World and a gen Omega Speedy. My first foray into buying a clone leads me to two choices: 1. Panerai PN616 Carbotech from Perfect Clones 2. Omega Speedy Moonwatch Black on Black from Watch Station It'd be great to get some general feedback and guidance: - Do you think these photos represent the actual watch I'd receive? - Any comments on the movement and / or parts listed? - Are these dealers reputable? - Do you know of any better options, maybe from the resellers on this forum? Thanks for taking the time ? Pombok
