Hi,
I'm after some enlightenment! I joined the RWI forum and posted a reply to a question regarding a dodgy watch dealer I had experience of - to help out the poster. The next time I looked I was banned for "unauthorised chargeback". I have googled this term and searched in there knowledgebase but to no avail, and they won't let me submit a support ticket because I am banned. Can anyone on this forum explain what "unauthorised chargeback" is?

Not sure how long of a member he's been but i believe he was also banned on the other forums.... I mean why do a chargeback withouth trying to work with the TD. They are TDs for a reason. Then not return the watch, somethibg smells fishy there... Appears like an intentional move to get a freebie.

So TD is Toro if i understood the replies, and they are making it right by selling the watch as parts and sending you a new one or refund. It looks like it's a win-win situation.

I won the listing but refused to pay after all the feedback I got, that's why it says sold. Not sure if he reposted it

Well that isn't anything like the response I received when I messaged him?

 

I looked at his history, items he is/has been selling and thought he may have been a victim. He told me that 'he' took down the listing and asked how to tell it was fake.

 

He thanked me and I haven't seen the Panerai listed agin.

Thanks. I rechecked my ebay messages and yes I told him it's a replica and he replied back saying it's not. Although it was a different seller who replied back saying he bought his 111 at a panerai boutique and claimed to have it serviced by a watchmaker who worked at panerai....

That listing says it sold for 3999, i thought you said he took it down?

That is clearly fake. I notified seller it's fake and he keeps insisting it's gen. I reported that to ebay as well. Avoid that seller he keeps listing multiple pam 111s claiming to be gen. I think i saw another older listing of another 111 from that seller. Avoid him at all costs
