My 063 from Daviden is pretty great. The only flaw on his hands is on the second hand...it is silver as oppossed to black. This is the only difference. I think the font size/thickness is off on the Luminor but it is a minor flaw. All in all, a great watch. Don't see the ruckuss about the deeply flawed hands...

no, I bought a crystal from davidsen before he was selling them coated...I had my eye doctor coat it...not cheap but definitely coats it with more of a blue tinge...

I posted a "beat down pam" on TRC and said that I had another project. Well this is it. I took a fiddy case and had it coated with TiN coating. It is typically used on tools to keep their hardness for a longer period of time. I took out the fiddy dial which was scratched up from a broken mineral crystal...and I completely took the paint off. Next I airbrushed the dial with a flat black mixed with a dot of silver metallic. Bought a new 6947 and voila...All in all, I'm pretty happy with it.

Anyone else ever get a rep with these dents on both sides? Why are they there and how come they are only on some reps? Any dealers care to comment? I have them on both an older 063 rep and a brand new Arktos GMT
