  1. Yeah, single AR on just the inside would be most accurate.

But the gen doesn't have that blue tint like the rep AR.

I'd get chief double AR and just remove the AR from the outside with a cape cod.

That IMO would be most accurate.

  2. WOW!! Awesome watch.

Now that you're done, I think its time for you to sell it. (to me ofcourse) ;)

    Sweet looking piece!

Hate to break it to you though - it's not really finished until you've had the crystal AR'd by chief..... makes a whole lot of difference, and adds alot to the overall feel!

    Cheers :)

He already has a K2222 coated crystal on that one (which actually is closer to gen than Chief's) Chief's coating is amazing. But its even better than GEN

  3. Are you planning on doing the mods yourself?

I'm planning on having a modder do it, I dont wana mess it up myself.

I actually spoke with one and he told me that the hands from the A7750 28k wont fit the Swiss mvt.

    (like bwhitesox said)

But considering that several members have done this mod and all BCE's come with the 28k mvt. It has to be possible, Right?

Is it possible to have the hands modded to fit the swiss mvt? or is everyone using different hands or something?

  4. Hey guys,

I'm workin on a franken BCE project.

I want to install a Swiss 7750 and Gen dial into my V3 BCE (updated date wheel)

I have all the parts, BUT I'm finding some conflicting info on whether the hands from the A7750 28k bph will be a direct fit onto the Swiss 7750

Anyone done this mod or have any info on it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  5. Very good Idea. I think someone should organize another group AR run for the date mags. I'm sure a lot of members (including myself) would be very interested.

And a lot more members have this rep now.

With this mod it would be undistinguished from Gen.

  6. I've been trying to remove my GMT II Ceramic bezel like the regular rolex bezels but the damn thing won't budge. :bangin:

I tried a knife edge, a screw driver and even a metal spatula to wedge it off with no luck.

    Am I doing something wrong??

Has anyone removed their GMT II C bezel?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  7. The actual model on Pam111's website, has a better looking PVD, and the caseback looks like the gen.

However after reading his reviews, i'm not even sure if those pictures are real?

    what are your thoughts?

    PAM111's Chopard Speed Black

Link to an actual gen Speed Black

Yeah, That version looks very good. :o

The wrong case back was the only reason I didn't buy one. Wonder if they updated it already.

Anyone got any more info on it???

  8. single AR is half as good as double.

    Just kidding,

Seriously, -rep single AR is nothing compared to after-market double AR.

But It all depends on the watch you're considering. If the Gen version of the watch has single AR, the $20 option will be good enough and well worth it, but if the Gen has double AR, i'd go with the aftermarket AR service from one of our moders here.
