So do you send your watch to Steve for the glass to be replaced? Anyone got his contact details?

I'm looking to buy a planet ocean rep and I can't decide between a couple.
They are on Trustytime, but I am a total noobie when it comes to rep watches, movements etc. Basically I want a nice looking watch that isn't going to fall apart, hence trusting a reputable seller on here.
Now, I really like the look of this one, and at $118 it's the cheapest he has:

But I also like this one:

Now, it's double the price, but will I see any difference as a newbie with movement etc? I won't ever use the chrono features, but I do prefer them to a plain face

I've not been on here for a while, are there any updates on the watch now it's on US soil?

Well, I thought I would have a little fiddle with this while the back was off. Got myself an opened up paperclip and span the little cog round with the 4 posts on a few times. As if by magic, it's sprung into life.

Yeah, a service will cost you about that, not worth it. If you are happy with quartz and the fake sub dial, go for it
Yeah, I never use the chrono stuff anyways, but I do like the extra dials. Something about a plane faces watch I can't get to grips with. I think I might just go for it and skip this piece if junk.

I’m guessing you didn’t pay a lot for it, you might be better treating it as an fun while it lasted. If you like the style get a good version that would be more worthwhile to keep serviced and repair if necessary
I paid less than £40 for it, which is why I didnt really want to spend much on it to repair it.
If I was going to replace it, I really like the look of this one from Trusty

I bought this over a year ago and was switching between this and my U-boat rep, having not worn it for a month or so, I came to put it on but it doesn't seem to want to restart, despite some swinging left to right etc.
It's automatic movement, but I couldn't tell you what type, probably some crappy chinese stuff. Are these prone to simply stopping, or do we think something has come lose? I don't want to get my [censored] felt by a local repair shop if it's something I could possibly sort myself.
If it is the movement, is this something that can be swapped out for a replacement, or better, for fairly cheap?
Thanks in advance guys, and please be gentle, I am a proper noob when it comes to this stuff

It also has the crap clasp
You're right, it is. Everytime I Bent my wrist back it popped open, so I had to get a little screwdriver in to tighten up the grip. Unfortunately, it's stopped working completely too.

I've been wearing my Egypt bought U-Boat for around 7 years now, but it's had far too many bangs against walls, door handles etc, and the screen has cracked, so I recently replaced it with this Seamaster copy. Again, it's only going to come to an untimely end with me walking into things. But I wanted to pop on to see if it's actually a bad copy, or whether it's not that bad.
Here are some pics.
I appreciate the back panel says speed master, lol

My name is Phil and I'm from Manchester.
Recently purchased a hooky Omega Seamaster Chrono and popped on to see just how bad it actually is.
