  1. I tried it with a pair of small pliers but for the life of me cannot get it to unscrew. Does it screw in like normal (i.e. righty tighty lefty loosey)? So I should turn the stem counterclockwise to unscrew is right? I think mine is just in there really really tight.

Ok, so the best way to prevent it is not to wind it at all?

Is it the winding of it, or the screwing and and screwing of the crown? I think i read somewhere (in this forum) that we keep winding of the crowns to a minimum.

  2. I am getting mine from Ruby too! Am really excited.

Where did you get your strap from, and how do I ensure that I seal all weak points?

Reading from above, I know an example would be to get epoxy or silicone, where do i get these stuff, and is it possible to waterproof it without "invasive procedures"?

    Cheers.

    Model: Ultimate Planet Ocean ETA

    Size: 45mm

    Seller: Ruby

    Rain: No leaks

    Shower: No leaks

Pool/Ocean: Swam in a lake, went about 4 ft deep with no problems. Also no problems in the hot tub with jets and blowers on.

  3. Hey rafib, same sentiments... wondering if the UPO is too big for me...

Guys, compared to the 44mm panerai, is the UPO that much bigger, or roughly the same?

Edit: I like big watches :D, just afraid that it will be insanely big or clownish

    Cheers.

  4. Hello,

I have the "latest" 45.5 MM PO from silix, and it does indeed have AR coating on the inside, not the outside of the crystal... The watch has been running 35 to 40 seconds per week, for the three weeks I have owned it... I had to buy a pin remover to resize the band...those pins/tubes are very tight... I just love the watch, and am thinking of getting the orange one... the price, with shipping was under 180 USD...

care to post some pics on it?

    cheers!

  5. Hello Doc,

Im a newbie and am sourcing for a nice first rep. The Aquaracer looks nice!

Was looking through Andrew's webby and noticed this one TAG0020SWC - Aquaracer Chrono DayDate Black SSB - Asia 7750.

Under the desc it states: Movement: New Asia Valjoux 7750 (28,800bph)

Is it the same as the one you bought? Also, will they ever come out with an ETA version of the Aquaracer?
