Looks great i would love to have an old rolex datejust rep or even better a gen but i dont think the old clasps fit on the ARF or BP datejusts so im not going to bother spending loads of time and money on it lol so i bought a BP daydate instead.

It has taken a bit of time sourcing parts.. All the parts to build the dream. But I got there and I done it for a lot of 1000's less than buying one. Its all genuine but it never left the factory with any of the parts it took to build. These are still £6k upwards. I cut the price in half. By building it from scratch. It was an ARF but not a single part of that is left.

Nice! How much invested do you have into that franken watch, that is more genuine than rep? I'm wondering if it's worth it buying parts or just buying a pre-owned.

1:1 interchangeable? wow, nice...I read here the balance is not interchangeable?.

As I posted a few weeks ago, I have been changing parts in the sh 3135, now I am left with two bridges and a nice new set of hands to change, my ARF has a almost whole new beating heart. A genuine 3135 and what a difference it is. Setting time, date is tight but crisp, the slap play in the hands has gone. It just feels so much better.

Nice, built several of these myself. I will let you in on this before you go crazy trying to figure it out as i see you bought the palet fork already. The Sh3135's chinese balance won't work with gen palet and vs versa. They are set up for different heights. I've gotten them to run, but not well and not for long. I've gotten everything else to convert out so all gen but mainplate, balance, palet and palet bridge and for some reason the cannon pinion bc the cannon pinion bridge has holes instead of the legs on the Sh's. How did you get that to work on there????

Hi guys, my ARF 3135 movement committed suicide, the reverse wheels exploded, and bit got into the rest of the movement. So I have been buying genuine parts bit by bit,

The list is as follows....

Barrel harbour complete.

Ratchet wheel

Third wheel (centre seconds)

Minute pinion and cannon pinion.

I have learned every tiny detail of the China version compared to the genuine. Almost every part is interchangeable except balance. So now I have 3 more bridges to buy, a balance wheel and bridge, balance guard, adjuster nuts.

Date carrier plate and full set of gen blue carrier screws.

Personally I prefer the eta it's cheap and easy to repair and service, and when setup they can be extremely accurate. Where as most rolex parts can now only be bought via a registered dealer at a premium.

Thanks for your thoughts, the diamonds are real and it’s all real gold. I had this valued 2 years ago but the jewler wasn’t a watch expert but he did say, he thought it wasn’t a genuine Rolex. I’m not sure the weight but he offered me 7k for it? 
 
I will take it be opened up tomorrow and see what movement it is
 

Case looks plated I could be wrong, bracelet looks solid. What's the weight?
As for the stones, they could be paste or genuine. Because it's rolex style doesn't mean it has to be rolex. Also it might be a one off gold watch for services rendered over a certain number of years.

It's pretty straightforward, you pick a watch select payment and postage options, but first speak to them ask about the best shipping, DHL are pretty quick. They collect and send qc pics and await your approval. Then its shipped.

I am using Kello. What I wanted to know was which one is the regulation lever. I suspect it is the smaller one and that I need to move it anti-clockwise to slow it down.
I would also love to know what movement it uses. It says 7750-PI on the movement, but it is definitely not a Valjoux 7750.

I've been thinking of purchasing a replica rose gold or yellow gold watch. Would you advise it?
All my replica watches are in stainless steel, because i'm scared that if i buy an RG or YG it will
tarnish/lose the RG/YG color after a month or maybe less. Anyone here who's got a replica watch
in RG or YG? Any feed backs? Suggestions on making the RG/YG last longer?
