  1. I got my first rep in the late eighties
I’m old, but it is the mileage that is killing me
Wow thats over 20 years ago and it still works! My mums cousins were one of the first replica sellers like for watches and clothing they started in the late 70s and 80s they made millions out of it and are still rich now! They were only market quality but thats how the replica markets got started was because they were so succesful with it and they never caught.

  3. Thanks. I’m happy that you got a great looking watch.  I always expect to buy a new strap when I buy a new watch.
Thanks! I thought it was only leather ones but i have no idea where to get a good quality presidential strap from ive been looking on ebay and etsy but im not sure of the quality, i might buy a dassari strap for it.

  5. Hi im look for a good quality Rolex Presidential Bracelet/strap, i recently bought a BP Rolex Daydate 36mm and the bracelet/strap is terrible i mean i have a £30 rolex daydate 36mm rep and it has a better bracelet/strap than the BP one, it makes a lot of noise i just want a really good quality presidential bracelet/strap i have been looking on ebay and etsy for aftermarket ones i saw one on etsy that was going up for £50 and its all solid and weighs 72g heres the links to them below.

  6. So i have been looking for ages and finally made the decision on the BP Rolex Daydate 36mm 2836-2, the face the case and movement is fine but the bracelet and clasp is REALLY BAD on the left is a £30 rep and it has a better bracelet than thr BP one, i dont know if gen does this but the clasp is poking out of the bracelet. If anyone knows a good seller where i can get a quality bracelet from please tell me, i dont think the links are even solid tbh, i have been looking on etsy but i have no idea what the bracelets are gonna be like they look good but there only £30-£40, oh and the £30 rep is heavier than the BP!

The second pic is the gen version its very very close

  9. Ah ok thanks i probably will leave it to be honest, im gonna buy the bp daydate 36mm instead.

    Cheers

The new bracelet has the hidden clasp. So try taking off the hidden clasp- unscrew the links at each end and see what you have. Then you'll need to screw in the link from the front of the old clasp and hopefully connect the other end of the bracelet to the end of the clasp with a pin- one of those 16mm depressable pins like on a buckle for a leather watch band. I don't know if it'll work. I'd personally just go buy a $20 old style jubilee from riyi002 or one of the other HK merchants.

You can do that, but it will require a lot of modifying. I think one of the problems you will run into, is the buckles fold differently. The short end of the old style will have to go on the long end of the new style, and vice versa. I can't imagine why you would want to do that, but it is your watch and you can do whatever you want to. Good luck!!
