  1. A dealer should:

    1. know what they are selling. Sappire crystal, movement...

    2. correctly present the advertised item.

    3. be honest.

    4. deliver the product in a timely manner. A may-not-be-working tracking number is better than no tracking number.

    5. reply emails in a timely manner.

    6. give the buyers the benefit of doubt. Murphy's law states "Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong." It's not always due to buyer's stupidity when things go wrong.

    7. try to find a mutually beneficial solution when things go wrong.

    8. look for long term relationship. Don't get personal. It's just businesss.

    my 2 cents.

I recommend Andrew, Joshua, EL, river, King, PT, and silix-prime.

  2. Eddie, I told you why I thought it was not solid 18k. There is a DISCOLORED SHARP EDGE on the end link.. it is not smooth. The reason for this? Plating!!! I have also found brown colored scratches on other links. Solid gold when scratched will not leave a BROWN mark.

DAMN RIGHT I am picky! I could have got the same watch from another dealer for A LOT LESS! So for someone charging OVER DOUBLE, I will mos def set my standards higher. If you read the claims made by WM9, I have every right to be picky.

Im glad your friend with the gen doesn't care about these things.... BUT I DO!

    Blame who? Do some reserach.

or you can buy it from Bestswiss. They also claim 18k.

  3. ... Non RWG Supporters will not be able to PM or Email others via the Forum :g: ... how about this ???

    John

good idea. So I don't get PMs from newbies asking me where did I get this, and where did I get that. How much is this and what color is the strap...blah blah blah..

  4. The dealer fees is nothing compared to what traffic they get from the members, in what market you can advertise your product in a very specific audience that interest very much for the product you are selling with such a low fee such as the fee that our dealers are paying ?

Definitely not the case for the small dealers.

I ve heard two small dealers saying that they don't want to pay the fee at RWG/TRC as they don't get much sales through RWG, also considering that RWI is free. One of the dealer even told me that he doesn't want to sell replicas anymore. The profit margin is shrinking and buyers are expecting more and more.

Big Dealers are setting up websites, so they don't have to rely on the forums.

  5. IMHO RWG should limit access to dealers area if the member is not a supporter. He can let a newbiee preview the dealers area lets say for 10 days and after that if he dont upgate this area should me not visible.

Just that, i think people in order to contribute need to have a strong motive, I am a contributor here in TRC from the first time. but not everyone like me or the other RWG Supporters.

    John

Bad idea for dealers. They pay higher fee to sell here and it sucks if mod decides to limit access.
