LR, i take it the bracelets can be removed by any watchsmith ? Also would it be too much to ask in PM how much it would cost to get each watch AR?

I would take the watch to the mall and have one of those "watch" guys remove the bracelets, don't go to the AD.

Yes the bezel will have to be removed for the SFSO.

Yes he does now include crystal removal for a fee, but for the Breitlings that have tabs on them, Chieftang does not want to risk losing any tabs. Also the bezel is a [censored] to remove, not even The Zigmeister wants to mess with it.

I need to send my 6.75 and navi world, I would prefer to send the whole watch coz i have no clue as to how to remove the crystals and stuff. Does he accept the whole watches?

Yes you can send the entire watch head. Please at least remove the bracelets or straps.

Have you looked at the graphite? Not to be confused with the grey, the graphite has the word "AUTOMATIC" in red.

Why did I think this was a "Dear John" thread? It has been a little quiet lately but we ride the waves as Lani would say. Soon new watches will appear and new hunts will be on for big projects. If you are that bored, see if you can run down a gen BCE graphite dial. That should keep you busy for a month or two.

If we pointed out all the flaws you wouldn't want the watch anymore. All these watches have QC issues because they aren't QC'd by the factory. They are made in very un-clean conditions.

As Chieftang's loyal unpaid assistant Please note the following if you wish double AR on your Breitling.

If the pearl and rider tabs can be removed, ala the BCE, remove them and store them yourself. The crystal can be popped out with the bezel intact as long as the tabs are removed.

If the tabs do not come off, ala Skyland, SA, have the bezel removed BEFORE shipping the watch. FYI, The Zigmeister does not want to remove the bezels either so don't bother asking him.

First of all, do not trust any of those websites. But you've already learned that. Second, read the posts here and do some searching. You will learn we have dealers here we trust and some are UK based. I highly recommend you read the Breitling review in the Breitling section. Most of the sub-sections have a review for those particular watches.

Yeah, those frankens are legendary. But I agree, it feels like you've had them forever. Probably the most well known watches in the community.
