Those straps are not for rep owners.. Not even for normal gen owners like most of us.
It is for people who spent 25.000$ for a 201/A which is for the untrained eye essentialy the same as a 2500$ 000 logo.
Does a 201/A worth 10 times the 000? Does the strap of the 201/A worth 10 times the normal strap? Everything is in the eye of the beholder.
Again, it depends on the target market. If I had a 201/A as a collectors piece maybe buying ths strap for 2000$ would make my watch sell for 5000$ more if you know what I mean
Well this is a proper strap for a customer. The other one was a fun thing to do in an old strap of mine to see how it looks.
Don't think they should be compared .. big difference no?
That's the best, easiest and cheapest solution. The same kind of lume the B&R watches have.
But you have to be careful because you don't want to end up with a canary yellow like that:
Hey glad you liked it Rob..
THanks guys for your nice comments. I have now made more than 100 straps the last months and can only get better with time and practice.
Thanks guys.. I couldn't than just be extremely precise and perfect in detail for something for The Zigmeister, the same way he is so detailed in modding our watches (his relume in my Cali dial is like made by a machine)
The details of the strap are not made by me (it is a thank you gift to The Zigmeister from another member) so I can't change anything
Just finished a strap from Metta Catharina leather for The Zigmeister (hence the leftovers for the frankenstrap I posted yesterday)..
Thought of posting some pics here because you never get tired of looking at Metta straps. and snffing them
I have received a PM from some guy wanting to explain him the process of making a strap, the tools he needed, where to buy it, where to find the leather and if I had a detailed tutorial because he wanted to start making straps.
Go figure...
Well I had some free time today and decided to play a bit.. Had some small parts of Metta leather and decided to do the following strap...
On a vintage burgundy leather a 'patchwork' of metta leather. Not perfectly finished because it is night but you can get the idea
My wife usually loves my straps but she said this one is awful and since she is a good judge I am expecting same responses here as well
Beautiful watch and strap.. and of course your other collection of straps is as good..
Love as well this petrol (we use it in greece as well) strapmasters shark.
I am following Jimmy's parts since he started made them. I have NEVER EVER seen him offer a dial, cg and crown like that.
Case and caseback are his.
Probably Jimmy didn't took much attention to your question.
Dobermann of course.. Had one when I was a small child and it was the sweetest dog you could ever imagine. Sleeping with her everynight in my bed. She was bigger than me
