Thanks.. this is one of the best stitchings I have done. Of course awl and needles is the 'traditional' way I do it and call it Handmade and Handsewn.. Using and controling a sewing machine is not 100% handmade

I sold my semi-ready greek hide strap to a customer. and he had to decide on the thread colour. He said to me he wanted GREY thread. When I first read it I thought that I should send him back an email with some other recommendations. I believed that grey thread on tan strap is a no-no. But since the customer wanted something different I decided to do it the way he wanted. The result? To me I think it looks GREAT... Nothing close than what I expected and of course nothing close to what is available on the market. I believe that this is a combo that unless you see the final result you would bnever thought of doing it. What do you think?

What size the Portugese has? I am quite sure this strap is for the Portugese and not the St Exupery. I could make it though 21/18 if that's what he wanted

If I remember correctly someone has used cigarette smoke to make it salmon/off-white instead of pure white. Or was it coffe and I don't remember?

Forgot to add that if you handle both watches to your hand there is no doubt which one is the rep and which one the genuine.. Does it worth the huge difference in price? That is another question completely different. The watches though are different and it is easy to say someone which one is the gen and which the rep. The detail in the finishing of the gen I have only see it in only one rep: The Ferrari range. All the other reps that have passed though my hands were.. reps.

I had at some time both genuine 112 and rep 112 and the BIGGEST flaw was the colour of the text.. It is a difference that even a non-wis could see.. The others are differences but minor ones that someone could overlook. The colour is a big one.

I have just finished a 20/20 strap for a member who wants to put it in his IWC (I think portugese?) It will take sometime to receive it because he has some other straps ordered as well, so that you can see it in his watch as a combo. Personally I think it will look nice with wither a gold or ss case. Photos to come when Photobucket will start working

Aaron (HKTAN) told me there is a reason why they don't but I don't remember now... Probably this side of the hide is too hard to fold over or something...

Walter's regular calf straps are crap... I have seen many and they were all at least bad. I ve heard good things from Psti owners about his gators (not from Aaron though.. he said they were not good quality) but I haven't seen any and I am not an expert anyway in the gator hides. I was searching for a boney gator sometime in the past as dadog remembers but I haven't purchased it.. I don't know if there was a thread or not..

Then you should see it... Not very similar to the Death of Mr. Lazarescu.. This one had better performances from the actors but the feeling of 12:08 leaves a more easy to swallow story, not so tiring and with better cinematography. Also that's the problem with different cultures.. Something is comedy to one and maybe be drama to another. I have to dissapoint you a bit here but unfortunately I do not trust film critics a lot.. In things that I tend to develop my own opinion this is the only opinion I take into consideration. Nothing is bad or good before I see it myself..

You are welcome Vic.. Burn's films (like Looking for Kitty) are just low budget independant style films.. They have an audience but not the same as Barney.. Barney is making Visual Art whatever that means.. I wouldn't expect, even from film critics, to understand Mathew Barney's works... hence the bad reviews.. You have to be an artist with the contemporary meaning of the word to understand it. There is a huuuuuuuge difference between making 'movies' and making 'visual art' with video as the medium.
