  1. Thanks a lot Tom.. I think I have seen as well a display caseback from WM (in Ubi's Pam?).. I may be able to contact him but it won;t be cheap I guess
  2. Don't really know... The watch already has a branded 183 caseback. but the engraving i think is too deep to sand i think... Thanks a lot Please I would really appreciate that!!!!
  3. Bump in case someone has missed it... Still looking for a source..
  4. I am wearing it constantly the last two days but anyway the leather is very soft on its own... I know I can make a strap from each hide I have with different combinations BUT I have to make a limit to myself If every strap takes at least 2 hours to make as you said I wouldn't leave the house

    Aging a strap

Don't destroy a good decent strap.. Wear it as it is.. It is not a true vintage Pam is it ? Anyway, if you see at Psti, many vintage genuine owners change their rotten old vintage straps for new decent ones Other option but a vintage leather strap
  6. If you need any help on the process of making them let me know.. I will be glad to pass my knowledge around..
  7. Well you are probably right.. I thougth aging like 'getting better' like the wine
  8. Oooooppsss.. now I feel a complete stupid.. Of course I have handled a gun assembled it and disassembled it and shot many times in target shooting.. I've been 18 months in the Military and was sleeping with my gun daily.. BUT as you can see I have not even remotely thought about it because the gun was not a personal choice.. was the tool of a soldier. No one says ban the guns from the army.. that would be stupid.. And if you have seen the Simpsons episode when Lisa hopes for world peace and the kodos come and conquer earth with wooden sticks.. Anyway.. where I live is a bit of a the Wild West of UK BUT I do not go anywhere not safe and try to mind my own buisness
  9. I agree about the dial... I think it is common sense it is too busy with small logos.. But I like the case.. The owner says that it ages very nicely.. it darkens with time.. That would be very interesting to have a case with character me thinks
  10. It is indeed very strange thread.. It has many different brown colours inside it.. Very thick so difficult to work with it but I think it looks great on black.
  11. I am not a fan in general either.. But this one looks very very nice.. I would prefer a more clean dial without so many logos but
  12. I had the challenge to make two straps for this genuine Anonimo watch that will match the bronze case nicely.. It wasn't easy because of the special colour of it... I do like this watch.. A LOT... and find it very very different. It is like the Titanic DNA watch but not so spooky Here are the straps I made.. The owner will take some photos to see how they look on the watch;)
  13. You're welcome... I liked yours so much that I made a similar strap for myself... Same specs, one personalised hole and a spare polished sewn-in MF buckle I had lying around Here it is in my 112:

    Movies

Well I will not suggest anything you probably have seen or will see... But if you are really interested to see a 'FILM' try to rent the DVD of '12:08 East of Bucharest' And because probably people won't know what that is check here: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1208_east_of_bucharest/ It is a black comedy related on the revolution and the after-Ceausescu era in Romania. I loved it. Btw.. Vic is interesting to see someone else for whom films are something more than a hobby I am a dreamer who grew up watching Geoffrey Reggio's Koyaanisqatsi over and over again so it was inevitable to be involved with visual arts. I am preparing a short-film at the moment which will be finished next April. Anyway.. my favourite movies of all time.. Gerry, Koyaanisqatsi, Nostalghia, Spring Summer Fall Winter and Spring, Wings of Desire, The Ninth Gate, Eyes Wide Shut, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, Goodbye Lenin, The Seventh Seal, Mulholland Drive, Lord of the Rings and many more.. Those were just the ones I' ve seen more than 10 times each Of course I can also enjoy watching Matthew Barney's films... that I would not suggest people to see
  16. Yeap.. what Pamman said.. I fitted normal rep crystal to jf case as well. But I don't know about DSN crystal... His watches/parts are completely wrong size so most of the times they do not fit to normal reps or jimmy parts.
  17. Yes.. this is a DSN watch I would consider buying. Nice photos
  18. Beutiful project Rolli.. it will be unique and awesome.
  19. I've never seen a real gun in my life and I am 31 years old Should I be ashamed like if I was a 'virgin' then?
  20. I decided to take off the OEM 233 strap from my Ferrari and wear it with my 112
  21. OK.. I'll check it out there and let you know. P.S> Milan though is always WAY overpriced.. Not a comparison in strap value.
  22. A-series? With the dark tan backing? Haven't seen an auction for one of those in Psti..
  23. Got both colour of those straps on the way to me.. I am sure that I will keep both
