  1. Same here.. This is a EXTRA COOL photo but definately not how all of us will wear it
  2. Hmmmm.. shinny day again here.. Next scientific test
  3. I agree.. although your comparison may not be so accurate because of the re-lumed Finepics dial (not made by a machine like a gen). Nevertheless this is exactly the result I have seen.. I too believed that the sandwich dial will be brighter but that's not the case. The painted it is not very much brighter but if you look carefully you can understand the difference
  4. UPDATE: Good news on the horizon.. The new lefty 239 Submersible has a very accurate lefty crown guard that might help me finish this project... I may have to buy the whole watch though (cg not available in spares) but I like it anyways
  5. Thanks Jet.. I always liked white dialed watches but in the first place i thought it didnt looked that good on Panerais. Now after a couple of months I really love it and it makes a great combination with a big variety of straps
  6. I agree.. As you know I have PVD'd myself a Pam 112 (complete fantasy as well) I was just mentioning the flaws for the facts not that it is not a beautiful watch
  7. Thanks guys.. Its been a long time since I have done the racing and I think of doing it again this spring (when the weather will be better in UK)
  8. Well I personally went for the 112.. I liked shinny and heavier case (than the dull and light 176) because it is more formal than the casual titanium, and of course I prefer sandwich dials than painted ones. So between the three you should just think those two questions: 1. Painted dial or Sandwich? 2. Lighter case and matt or Heavier and shinny? BASE RULES
  9. Beautiful collection... except that strange white/black Pam with the razor crown
  10. Beautiful collection Aaron... and very nice 'dreamy' pictures
  11. Well.. they may be MANY Replica boards but the reason I really LOVE RWG is because of its integrity... Congrats to Admin and the mods for a beautiful place to be P.S. Of course I am against the promotion of specific dealers even I do believe Joshua & Andrew are as great as can be. With the search button it is not very difficult to understand that
  12. Well what can I say? Angus is a great guy and of course a great dealer.... Buy without any hesitation at all
  13. WOW... All of you believe that the sandwich is more bright? There are two parts in the equasion.: 1. Sandwich may use more C3 paste 2. Painted though are more closer to the glass. THis is the photo I have taken.. They may look the same but with naked eye there is a small difference... Keep voting
  14. Of course any other info/tip would be much appreciated
  15. To be honest it is the first time we are going somewhere with my wife and really consider rent a car for touring.. We basically prefer to walk around and discover the secrets of the cities we go.. Anyway.. I think we should rent a car this time and enjoy the view
  16. Beautiful Personally I don't like this kind of straps (remind me of Diesel kind of watches) but the watch is a beauty indeed...
  17. Well this Friday I am off to Geneva with my wife for a romantic a bit extended weekend. Although I don't know how it will be romantic with all those watch shops around and me checking every watch Anyway.. do you have any suggestions to make? Restaurants, other Swiss cities near by etc etc... Now.. which one I should take with me?
  18. I understand... every person is a different human being.. Although instead of being on the safe side, some times you should be more spontaneous.. After all the small crasy stuff are that really matter in life On the other hand I am a so called artist so don't trust blindfolded my opinion..
  19. Personally I don't do my purchases thinking if the item will go out of style in 5-10 or 20 years I buy NOW and I buy what I like best NOW. Live for today.. who knows what tomorrow will bring
  20. Well I have both my watches near me at the moment after a long exposure to direct and strong sunlight (Yes end of November in Uk is sunny ) Photo and answers later or tomorrow
  21. Don't know what you say but I personally liked Panerai that much that I bought a genuine 3500$ BASE (in every way) watch that 90% of the people around me don't have a clue about it. Now what if I had bought a nice Submariner with that money? Well some people buy things for themselves.. I know Panerai reps are close to the genuines BUT on the other hand liking the design that much I felt I had to buy the real deal. At the end the history of Panerai is there.. Myth or not in my eyes it is a beautiful watch to have and wear. And with the straps I have the opportunity to change look every day and not getting bored of it (something that happens very often with my purchases).
  22. Plus a T SWISS T on a sandwich dial? Well... it cannot be more inaccurate than this
  23. Well today I am all Black&White
  24. Nice watch, but does the 195 has a sandwich dial????
