  1. Just saw your post about purchasing a new j12 and it not being like the previous version you had. You were concerned about the clasp. The clasp on the older model you had is CORRECT with the bar down the middle. What dealer did you purchase the older model from?
  2. My wrist is 5.5", I wear men's size watches, but no bigger then 39mm because it will look too big and not 'sexy.' I wear these a bit loose on my wrist. I haven't seen any wrist photos of a woman wearing the santos watch 38mm. Is this because it is too big? I've read that the 38mm wears very big because of the square shape. Would the 33mm look 'big' enough and 'manly' enough on me? (I HATE small dainty sized watches for women) I'd love to see any photos or experiences of those who purchased for their wives/girlfriends. PLEASE! P.S. I would order with the leather strap.
  3. Hi Ken. Dave123; I live in miami where even in the winter it is 80 degees and high humidity so my skin sweats under the watch which then causes the watch to 'sweat.'
  4. Dave123; yes, my toothbrush temporarely removes the gunk but after a few days of wearing, there is black stuff seaping out again. How much of it can possibly be contained in that tiny hole in the link?? It never runs out!!
  5. I have a white Chanel j12 that I love. IMO, most popular, most complemented watch ever. Anyway, the biggest flaw of this rep is the white ceramic links are so translucent that the black gunk or oil inside the links actually is visible, it gives it a grayish color especially on the underside which seems to be more translucent. The black gunk is always leaking out and is obvious on a white watch. I've tried cleaning with dish soap & windex with tooth brush but I can't get inside the links & the black gunk is endless even though I've worn the wstch daily for years. How do I get rid of it permenantly????!!!!!
  6. I apologize to everyone for breaking the rules. I was not trying to be a dealer. It was one every other month or 1 a month just this past year. This is definately not for the amateurs. I give my word I will not sell replicas anymore. I can't handle the stress when something goes wrong. Thank you everyone for your replies, very sorry KB.
  7. I don't know if this sounds paranoid but could 'I' get in trouble? Here's what I'm thinking in my mind: the customs ask this customer for the seller's info which is me and she has my paypal ID. Then customs gives it to Cartier and Cartier pursues legal action against me becuase they will see from my paypal I have sold about 15 of these.
  8. Yes, that is what I thought to but in the tracking in France it stated it differently: arrival in delivery office: CUSTOMS. It was in french so I used an on-line translation to figure it out. My customer in france called Customs and gave them the tracking number given to me by the China seller and customs told her they were seizing it because it's counterfeit. This is my second transaction with this customer in france, the first had no problems. Can this customer get into trouble?
  9. I had one of the reputable sellers here send a customer in France a replica Cartier love bracelet directly frome china. The customer in france just contacted me that they're bracelet was held in customs and when they called to find out the problem, they were told french customs is keepting it because it is a couterfeit. can my customer get into trouble? What happens now? Anyone have experience with this? Here is the message from tracking number: 2010-11-08 03:00:00 FRENCH REPUBLIC ROISSY CHRON Released from Customs 2010-11-09 06:41:00 FRENCH REPUBLIC 74998 Arrival at Delivery Office
  10. among the horrible things they are saying about counterfeit would, one that it profits terrorists organizations, they are saying alot of the products including bags carry high levels of LEAD. Anyone watching? It's on now Eastern Time in USA 9pm channel CNBC.
  11. Well, once again I 'jumped the gun.' False alarm, no problems, it was released from customs, and was dispatched to USA. Thank you everyone who assured me it was no problem. I actually did relax about it, then pleasantly suprised when it was released. It's weird how I had never gotten that status before. Now I know. And anyone else who may encounter that message.
  12. Thank you everyone for taking the time to reply. It is very appreciated. It is being held in China customs, where it was originally sent from. Never left the country. I live in USA. What worries me is that this is the FIRST time I received that message. I have been sent about 20 items from china via EMS and none of those have ever been 'handed over to customs.' They 'arrive in sorting center', then 'depart sorting center' within hours. when they arrive here in USA, the tracking does state 'arrival US customs', I then receive in the next 2-3 days.
  13. I'm tracking a package from guangzhou and this is the latest: 2010-05-20 21:08:00 GUANGZHOU Posting 2010-05-20 22:12:00 GUANGZHOU Despatch from Sorting Center 2010-05-21 00:15:00 GUANGZHOU Arrival at Sorting Center 2010-05-21 01:15:00 GUANGZHOU Handed over to Customs I've tracked many packages from china and have never seen that message. I'm definately a bit worried. I've got 2 replica items in the package. What does this mean?
  14. I'm on my 3rd Chanel J12. The first purchased from Joshua years ago when these first came out so it was way off. The 2nd from king which was okay but way too expensive and the language barrier was too much to bear ever again. My 3rd which I have now has been the best, not perfect as they don't exist, but damm close. I posted my purchase review under WKO (wackobirdkeeper). To ME, the only flaw I notice is the bezel. Specifically, the 'teeth' on the outer bezel. The genuine has wider set teeth and is not curved on the edge. Also, the little diamonds on the bezel: the genuine's diamonds are round and set close, the replica's CZs are set farther apart and look 'square'ish' up close. (they look round on the replica watch in the photo but they look square'sh in person) A side note, if anyone watches the Bravo reality show "Real housewives of orange county" you will see ALL the housewives wear one, real of course becuase one of them was swimming with it. Gretchen, Lynn and the new housewife Alexa wear theirs all the time, the others some of the time. Owning that watch must be a 'prerequisite' to living in orange county. J12 on left is genuine, right replica.
  15. Everyone gather 'round: Group hug!!! Thank you for taking the time to reply with your knowledge. I was going to return the watch because it didn't have a screw down, now I see it doesn't matter and your replies make sense. My replica Chanel J12 was a screw down crown and it wasn't even splash-proof.
