  1. I have made it very clear in the checklist that comes with every of our watches (eventho it's in my online policies as well). This is to protect myself as well. That is also why I can test it for them, but I nonetheless dont want to take responsiblity, how can I tell how you will wear your watch in the water, or maybe (devil advocate) you will delibertly make it wet (with crown unscrewed) and put the resonsibility on me.

That we take no responsiblity as I was getting [censored] by a few customers and treating e-mails because they swam with their watch, and it got "rusted" or claim that the movement died and was magically had a rusted dial... and upon return... we found that the client swam with it without even telling us.

Or missing parts that was "our" fault because we had to QC, example a small pearl let loose, or something else.

Well we cant QC that it could withstand a BANG (as when we received some watches back, the watch was FULL of dents/scratches/damages)

So even dealers must protect themselves... it is in my experience not just an one-sided thing, as most members look at the customer side and often forget the dealers-side

  2. We offer the UPO as well, and as fitmic said, it is NOT the same (lite vs UPO)

I can tell you since I'm a official dealer here. The glass is also mineral glass last time I had one in my hands. The UPO is the UPO and most dealers sell it, most watches come from the same sources factories, there are only a few that others cannot get... and it is usually not really that one has a better one then another as you have to judge almost on individual basis in my opinion as sometimes the factories varry or change / update. What we do, is QC'd the whole watch, incl test timing and accuracy, we also take pics before shipment to show you what you get before shipping and for approval. So you know exactly what you will be getting. Have a look at our website if you wish to see some other prev orders-pics.

For example you have the 42mm, it comes with short second hand, we replace this (only we do this as far as I'm aware) with long seconds hand (like gen)... then yes in some cases we offer a different better product, but in other aspect it is the same build. As dealers aren't manufactorous... altho some dealers have better sources than others and offer larger selection, we offer e.g mbk quality where other dealers can't get their hands on them.

  3. Yes this is one of the tell-tales (as I mentioned as well in my pic tutorial), and also the big silver wheel is ALWAYS (in my experience every since the COPY ETA come out) is polished, while the gen it is brushed... the wheel at approx 1 oclock... and some other tales... i made a pic tutorial about a year ago how to differiate between them in my section. We are one of the few that open their caseback to double verify and guarantee the gen ETA movement (if ordered).

  4. Hi Freddy, I can get those ones I used to use them too at my watchmaker and still do at times... they cost here about (ehm I have to ask again, if i recall) 500usd-1000usd. I remember they were Quite expensive.

but the thing is freddy and correct me if I'm wrong... is that in reality it works differently. Because I had my watchmaker use this method prior to having done our manual method...

Now we cylcotester fully wind the power-reserve.... then sync and put it on a Quartz watch and check it after 30+ hours.

I had alot more DOA or movement's giving up after xxx days or power-reserve not working when I used that machine.. (what is the name again...is the correct name "bench-tester"). So i tend to say that on the machine and in reality it is different. But that is just my 2 cents, it could be maybe the watchmaker not doing a good job and I dont know how to operate that machine myself so that is why the manual method I am using is the best for me thus far.... as we try to keep the QC in house, to prevent watchmakers from screwing us up.

However I am interested and all ears if you have any suggestions and or ways to effective and efficiently improve our QC... maybe you can help me use that machine give me some instructions as I would have to train my staff who is in charge for QC to do it again...

  5. Please have a look here....V5 In my opinion is the best DSSD out there.

You can purchase it here in our webstore with COPY or GEN ETA.

    http://www.eugroups.com/test.com/product_info.php?products_id=3640&osCsid=dd636884b0d22402adba38ccb4a17a9e

(we now also sell it with DG2813 at 148 usd --- all the same as the ETA version or COPY ETA version)...

We can also put in a DG 4813 (high beat, 28.8k movement for you manually but will cost 178usd).

V5 had some flaws but most were already in the meanwhile been fixed, so you need the upgraded V5 version. We are in close contact with this factory so you can give us some advice that you would like to see changed... I know some have the ORLEX between the lugs, but some have just ROLEX, we can QC it for you but you would have to specify this if this is important for you as most never take off their bracelet anyways...

  6. Look Epaulo, it's easy to claim stuff, but unless you return the watch! And we take a look at it... we have a EU-address then we can see your claims...

but i think this is going to the wrong DIRECTION as it's not an CLONE ETA...

Too me it's too suspecious, of you not to receive hollow midlinks, not to receive your endlinks, and now not to receive GEN ETA movement!!! As I ordered your order personally and 93150 bracelets come with the endlinks you ordered (and you last minute changed your endlinks as well).

That is for 100% sure so I'm doubting your integrity here! VERY DOUBTING IT RIGHT NOW. And I tell you right now as an example to everbody else that I am not going to take anymore Nonesense....

-One of the other reasons I was not on the forum is because of alot of CRAP and SCAM customers pissing around, making false claims, making paypal claims, swimming or damaging their own watches and blaming it on us, or wanting us to fix up their mistakes!

As right now! it seems you just trying to destroy our business as you been offered MORE than 3-5x a solution but you want to keep posting and venting!

So this is the last warning if you continue to make these claims and I REALLY KNOW...my stuff AND PUT MY NAME on the line that you didn't receive an COPY ETA as this is an CUSTOM MADE order then... then it's clear to me you DONT want a solution and we will retract our solution to you. Period!

  7. I'm not sure they "had" a factory in GZ but there was one in Hongkong for sure (which is very near GZ) but I'm definate they had an office there or resellers based in GZ. I say "had" because ETA like Aligoat said is stop selling "ebauches" which means unfinished (meaning non decorated) ETA movements, in the past they did sell them. But rapidly is the COPY ETA (nothing to do with ETA, except that it looks and feels and moves, and is branded like an ETA movement -however is not made by "swatch group company -ETA- is taking over the markets and in the replica's.) Only a few tales to differiate them and we do this for our clients when they order GEN ETA!!

  8. Well it really depends on my sources, for some are easy to get some are NOT... so as a general rule I'm not in the business of selling spare parts. We can get bezel-inserts easiely tho. But dials are a bit tricky... as factories just dont support us dealers, and give a very hard time to give it to us when they do. It is in short a hassle and usualy the client dont wan to pay much, so it not even profitable for us as well.

However if you're a veteran or outstanding member I sometimes go out of my way to get if for you dispite the effort. So ask us, it can't hurt to ask.. ;)

  9. Hi we got them def with High-Cannon Pin, 28.8k fresh and new it's in my rolex section.. you can order it directly from the webstore...

it's a direct swap from the 2813, had my watchmaker do it countless times!

The thing is I cannot define in my webstore shipping per indivual item as a computer cannot recongize how big or small it is, so we coded it a on flat based + every next item basis.... And it's not 15usd per movement on shipping currently, it's 15usd + 5 usd every next item = which is standard default for Registered airmail.

What we can do is if you buy multiple we can reduce the shipping cost or keep it at 15 usd (you have to manually e-mail us to edit your order / after placing it of course) This is for packing/shipping and also paypal/creditcard fees, and other fees are incl in the shipping price nowadays.

  10. Well it's really hard to say how long it will last, the best thing to have is a good rep friendly watchmaker or asian-dealer who will help you service it for you even after 5-6 months because servicing it here is not as expensive and spare parts are available then in USA or Europe for example.

From my own perspective as a dealer we are not involved in the assembly line or manufacturing (as how can we forsee the future), but what we can do to prevent DOA, which i started to implement after a few DOA, and non-function after x days, or x weeks... is to prev.

Test the power-reserve and accuracy of the movement before shipping it off (we still cannot account for how it gets shipped tho). Because if it were badly assembled (the movement) the power-reserve and the timing will tell usually immediatly.

So what I do with my current orders (i implemented this a few months ago) is to fully wind them (i put them on a cyclotester) sync the watches with a Quartz watch, and after 30+ hours check if the A.Still runs > Power-reserve B.Runs in sync with the Quartz

I will post a pic of this after this reply soon...

  11. You can e-mail us, we offer shipments from UK, we can get basically whatever Joshua gets, and some things that he cannot get... (mbk/mbw)...
