  1. Nice one. How does it compared with the legendary MBK version?
  2. Does the V23 has the same size/thickness as well as the pusher orientations to that of the V72. The only difference between the two is just 2 subdials in V23 and 3 subdials in V72. Please correct me if I am wrong.
  3. Ah yes, missed out this point. Then perhaps shaving the bezel gasket will be the best solution to minimize the gap problem.
  4. This kind of full payment pre-ordering business model is alarming. Think in case any part of the value chain fails, the whole chain will just simply collapse, and eventually who are the sufferers........? And do you know how factories in China works? Basically the standard practice is 90 - 180 days open terms between factories, so our money is the major cash to keep them running.
  5. Why lowering the movement? I trust the movement is well fit into the case and lock in place. How can lowering the moevment is possible? And what's the point of doing it?
  6. Thanks again for the helps. WIll get to the movement and see what is next.
  7. Just found out the movement is actually ETA 2846. In this case, does it share the same stem of ETA 2836/2324? Thanks for any advices in advance.
  8. It's ETA2836-2, mates Still no need to remove the movement out of case. Just a tweezer pushing the broken stem out of the movement will work still? Just wonder how come the stem can break in such manner
  9. Thanks. Looks like there is no chances but to dissemble the watch. Afterall, the keyless is on the dial side, no escape but have to remove the hands, dial......
  10. Thanks for advice. No, the stem is broken into two pieces, so part of it is lodged inside the movement. Now what to do?
  11. Stem broke when winding the movement. What to do and how to change a new stem? Is it needed to dissemble the watch/movement to remove the broken piece left inside? Can someone help with advices please? Thanks a lot in advance.
  12. Just would like to ask where did you source the gen handset? Seems to be pretty hard to get on the market actually.
  13. That's what I thought too. A spacer ring? That means this is a no amateur job. You need the lathe and material to do the machining:( Filling up the existing tube hole, and redrilling a new one needs extremely accurate machining too.
  14. Thanks for sharing the info, mate So hard to source the gen hands really. Interesting to see the Schwarz Etienne movement have the same dimension to that of the A7750, or do you still need to mod the case to get it fit in? Sorry for asking so many question, been thinking for years to build the ROO Franken.....till I have the sufficient funds and luck to get the parts.
  15. Would have thought so......not easy works though. BTW, do you just use the cyclop come from the rep to put onto the D-P movement? It gives a perfect fit? And all the pinions on the movement matches the gen hands too?
  16. Nice built. Is the case the current APROO rep case? Always wonder how you can rebuild the tube hole to the recess position fitting the D-P crown position. Guess only experts like Domi has the tricks.
  17. The only truly accurate FM I ever come across is the Conquistador with ETA2892. Throw in a gen dial and it flies. Pity it is no longer made for years.
  18. Just one word....A7750 and S7750 are not the same, never a simple straight swap can be done even if you are keeping the chrono functions. Just live with it and enjoy the watch, and you will be happier.
  19. Nice works though I think the 1000 grit is too fine vs the gen finish. Anyhow, quite unbelievable the factory can ship out a watch with such bad scratches. Didin't you approve the QC pics though I know it is quite meaningless as most likely the watch you received at the end is not the one you looked in your approved pics.
  20. Looks like the QC issues are starting to flow to the surface. The inner bezel has always been the problem in the V3 - factory has too many of these defected bezels to get rid of, and they just simply seems to refuse to go for a new batch - cost reasons? And just tried to get a pass by luck! Pity to see such a great rep is gaining a bad reputation so fast.........and the factory doesn't understand the story of "killing the hen for the golden eggs"
  21. One more thing, the datewheel from Asian2834 will fit alright onto the ETA2846 too? No hacking on ETA2846?? Hummm...this is not an easy mod though, or is it possible at all??
  22. This one looks better. When you turn the inner bezel anti-clockwise to get the triangle line up in the middle, the makers should align ok.
