  1. To be honest, I don't see too big a problem on the alignment of bezel screws, they all are positioned in the correct direction. I trust the feeling of misalignment is the opening and the hex screws don't have the perfect fit, there are gaps in between. In the gen, you will see the screw will fit perfectly tight around the cutting - no even a fine hair can get thro'. This issue is common on all the ROO's, and the Silver Theme is particularly serious. This needs an extremely accurate machining to cut the holes to the exact size of the screw to give a perfect fit. Afterall, it is only a rep, we can't expect the same level od Swiss craftmanship, right? Coming to the inner bezel, it now seems to be the common problem in the V3 as quite a number of other memebers are encountering the same already. The only way to get it right is the factory just throw these damn defective inner bezels away, and correct all the assemblies with the properly aligned inner bezels. I think Puretime should now step in and get the whole mess rectified.
  2. It's hard to accept that's a sapphire distortion considering the crystal is basically dead flat, and with AR too! The factory really has to look into this issue and correct it. It is not going to help to speed up the long waiting queue. They know these assemblies are defective and still try to get a pass by luck, it's just a waste of time and it's not really fair on their customers who have been so royal with patience to wait and paid full in advance for the watch. Obviously from the pics the defective part is the inner bezel, why can't they just throw these junk parts into the trash and save everybody's time!? QC 4 times still have problems is outrageous, this kinda put me off in actually ordering one at this time.
  3. No doubt the Diver V3 is beautifully made and well built. Not a bad idea to put in an ETA2846 to give the gen feel of low beat, though do the canon pinions between the Asian 2824 and ETA2846 share the same diameters where the hands can fit perfectly on the later?
  4. Vote for the Diver. A simple dato-only movement will have your watch last for years. Overhaul of the movement is also easy. ROO chrono is attractive and fancy, but with the modded A7750 sec@12, you can never predict when it will drop dead. Servicing it is almost impossible.
  5. To be honest, and sorry to say, if the lume is done by a pro relume modder then it is pretty hard to accept the quality. UWE definitely had done many great jobs on the Diver reluming, really awesome actually, pity that it seems he has problem at the moment. Love to see what Vac can do on the Diver though. Don't forget to post some pics of the works by Vac, Inertiadrifter
  6. Why a funny broken "2" lume ?!
  7. en route to Vac for relume???? Just wonder if the gen. really has SL? Any idea? Or it may look funny if the gen. only has the normal lume. Anyhow, still a great and fantasic watch. 99% spot on really. A gen. strap will bring it to the next level.
  8. Awesome indeed. Lume looks like as the standard rep standard, fair enough. But with all the other superior built quality of the watch, all other minor picks are no issue at all. Wear it well, mate, congrat for a great AP you have. BTW, how long have you ignited the lume(under sunlight?) to give this brightness?
  9. Oh, so the lume will be the poor quality as per the pics shown in the pre-order message? If this is really the case, really is a pity for such a beautiful piece of work in all other aspects. Eager the see the real thing if the lume will be improved to the proper SL.
  10. My best understanding is that bk is offering the N-factory DSSD with his own mods....gasket, datewheel etc. It now sounds like the MORE proper DSSD is a Franken built of Trevor + N-factory.......only if the parts are interchangable between the two.
  11. Beautifully built indded. It is not easy to get the gen. chrono hands and big seconds hands properly fitted on the El Primero, the pinions sizes are different on the cal.4030 actually. Congrats and wear it well.
  12. Just wondering if the factory will get the lume fixed when the watch is actually launched. Any mentioning on this issue?
  13. Jkay, yes, that's what stops me from buying any Rollies with Maxi Dial so far. It is so simple that the puffy thick rimmed markers is a straight tell in seconds as compared to other less obvious flaws, though no one seems ever care about this major flaw Only if bk can make this proper Maxi Dial with the correct lume for the Noob DSSD, we will have the almost perfect piece.........
  14. This is the 1st ever DSSD properly made with the CORRECT hour markers If Noob DSSD can implant the same dial as this one, and with the bk mods........WOWWWW!!
  15. Wouldn't it be better off just to spend your money on a BK DSSD? I think it is already pretty accurate in most aspects, or am I wrong that the so called "ultimate" version is even better?!
  16. It's GEN, no doubt about it. Congrat, mate, beautiful piece. Surely you have hot money burning in your pocket.
  17. I will say it is amazing if for a $50 more to get all the improvements what edgematic1 has highlighted. If the V3 really comes out like this, I must admit almost all the other reps can be thrown in the trash bin, lol. And it will be the best rep ever seen in the rep history. Can't wait to see the real thing comes out.
  18. What are the fixes on V3 vs V2 apart from the superlume, AR sapphire and cyclop? We are talking about a $300 difference here!?
  19. Thanks for all the inputs. Seems bleaching liquid is the way. I am working on MBW insert, will try again as suggested. Cheers.
  20. Have been working on this for some time, but still can't find out the best solution. I know many experts here have the knowledge on this issue. Can someone shed me some lights on the proper way of vintagizing a black Sub insert? I tried 100% bleaching liquid, but then the paint just came off completely:( Thanks in advance for any inputs.
  21. Surprised it can come off so easily? Ask the dealer you bought the watch from, think he should be able to sell you the parts. Goodluck.
  22. Excuse my ignorance, we have been discussing the excellent mods by "finedd", am I correct that finedd = UWE = Caruwe? I am quite sure about the last two, but how does the name "finedd" comes into the picture, I am curious to know. Been away for quite sometime, sorry if I have been missing the storyline.
  23. Huh? Sorry don't quite get what you mean, mate. Can you show the comparison?
