Both are correct straps. One is rubber, the other is leather with orange stitching. The last option is the steel bracelet. You need to do a search on UPO to find the watch you're looking for, and this is a great site to do it.
Best of luck.
...and after a while, you get tired of them? Oh-- and when they start acting crazy its time to move on to a better one?
Luckily, when you get rid of them you don't have to give them half of your property.
...but I'm not bitter.
You are certainly welcome.
Thanks! I'm all over now-- 4 forums under the same name. Bit of a lurker who will throw out info when he knows it, but mostly I'm here to soak stuff in.
I can be a little help-- the first watch engraving describes the watch.
Breguet did invent the 'spiral Breguet' but I'd guess this was manufactured by 'Ancre' which did exist as a watch company...
Levees Visibles = you can see the pallet lever and jewels
breguet balance spring
Double Plateau = Double Roller (good escapement part)
compensated balance wheel
15 rubis = 15 jewels
The 2nd watch is a Waltham movement with an PA watch company case... a nice American made watch. I have one just like it that I've thought of making a wristwatch case for due to its family heritage.
