So just decided after much reading in this forum and feedback, to get Andrew's 5002 vs1. Just needed to know what I have to do now to make it more gen like. Please lend your feedback and where to source as well! 1. Strap - where do I go for this one: Peter Guny, Zeugma, gorilla, strapluxe, hktan? looking for the most gen like. 2. AR - is the ar that bad where I need to get it redone? Is getting it double AR from Chieftang the best? 3. Relumed hands - where? 4. Gen crown - where? 5. Date window raising - having no tools, can i take this to a local watch repair facility to do this? 6. ? did I miss anything. Really appreciate any feedback on this.

Hey Just wondering for all you big pilot experts, did the Gen, pre 2006 BP come in just brown buffalo leather or also in black? Also, was the dial of the gen slate and not like the new black dials? thanks
