  1. Happy Birthday supermoves!

  2. Yes, its very similar to best of the best....and they pull in nearly 12 million in a year. Their prizes are much larger...Ferraris, etc...but the tickets are much more expensive as well...up to $100 for one ticket. Yes, sorry...1 in 100....thats what I meant :-) So overall, would you guys buy a ticket?
  3. Hey guys...I won't post the URL yet, because I don't want anyone to think I'm spamming...but I would love your thoughts on my business idea... I have launched a website that sells posters for $10. With each poster comes a free entry into a drawing to win a watch (this method is necissary to make everything legal). Each poster only sells 1,200 copies. Watches include brands like Rolex, Panerai, IWC and they are all new and authentic. As soon as we sell 1,200 posters, we choose a winner. Immediately, we put up a new poster associated with a new drawing. This means a single poster would give you a 1 in 1200 chance of winning and for $120 you'd have a 1 in 10 chance of winning. Its ok if you think its stupid...I'm just looking for opinions. Thanks!
  4. I hadn't been to this site in a long time, as I tried to enter the world of replicas, but just couldn't do it. I love the look of Rolex and I LOVE the tudor, the problem is that I dont believe that the quality of the timepeice is worth the money they ask. This is an opportunity to get one at a fraction of the cost, not to mention a true Tudor! I have bought 2 tickets and Stephane has brought someone back to the community! So thanks for this chance! Im not a lucky guy, but I will be double crossing my fingers on this one! ~Craig
  5. That is great advice, thank you. I ordered a sub from trusty and paid a little extra for him to deal with the "issues" it might have...including waterproofing...so maybe he will offer that service for this watch, I will check it out...thanks again...
  6. YES! thank you....the one I saw was a two-tone version...but that is definately the watch...thank you so much. If anyone has a suggestion of a decent place to get a rep of this watch, Im all ears :-) Thanks again!
  7. It was a large circular face with a blue stone on the end of the crown and the crown was set a little in, so that the bezel actually partially covered it. Does anyone know which model this is? I cant seem to find it on any site, including cartier!! Thank you!
  8. Hello fellow RWGers, I am once again turning to you guys for advice. This time it is regarding a good source for replacement parts. I do not really care if the parts are genuine or not, as long as they are of excellent quality. Also, the biggest issue I am having is finding a "catalouge" of sorts. I really hate having to guess if the hands or the face is the one I want by some model number. I was hoping there might be a comprehensive online cataloge of parts. Something that has cases, hands, dials, (maybe even movements?) along with pictures so I can actually see the parts before I order them. Thanks in advance for anyone who can offer help with this!
  9. If you do find one (particularly the sun/moon) please let us know...thatll be my second rep!
  10. For what its worth, I have 2 gen breitlings and feel they are one of the best gens for the money that you can get. They are really stunning timepeices and I recieve a least a few compliments everytime I wear one. They are my favorite watch under 10k. I would highly reccomend them to anyone thinking about getting one.
  11. Hey MJ, you are right about your links. But if you look at the descriptions, I actually cant find anything different (except maybe the polish on the bracelet?) I dont see what the extra-extra $100 is for. I say extra-extra, because the one I got is already an extra $100 for the additional work...so the "ultimate" is extra, extra...lol
  12. Victoria mentioned something about how nice the A. Lange catalouge was, so I went to their website and ordered one (its free, just enter your address). It is one of the most amazing things ever. Knowing a little bit about printing, it probably cost them about $20-$25 for each one. It also comes with a cool DVD highlighting their new "datograph" watch. The cheapest watch in the catalouge is $26,000 but they sure are works of art. Anyway, if you like the watches at all, go to the site and get the catalouge. It also gives detailed descriptions of how all the movements work, which is REALLY cool.
  13. Personally, I think its worth it (although I think it was $388 not $488). THe movement is great, it accepts gen parts and looks perfect. Many movements, even the ETAs, are not in "tip top" shape. Also, there are quality control problems as some here have said. The extra money gets the movement taken apart, cleaned, lubed, put back together and gets the who watch tested to be water resistant to like 30m (or maybe 30 ft), either way, I believe the extra money is WELL worth it, if even just for peice of mind.
  14. I got Andrews "perfect" sub and I love it...keeps good time and looks AWESOME!
  15. I also just recieved the "perfect sub" from Andrew... As for the bracelet being lighter, as mentioned above, the actual Sub has a lighter bracelet than TT. The TT is heavier because of the solid gold center links. Even the SS gen can be ordered with solid mid-links, but the genuine watch has hollow and is quite light. Honestly, I never noticed the edges of the bracelet. There is nothing wrong with my cyclops and my date changes EXACTLY at midnight. As for the Bezel, Ive never actually clicked the bezel on an original and therefore cant really speak to it..but who the [censored] is clicking your bezel to see if its real? LOL
