  1. Nice Im toying with getting the gen 16710 or 16700 just not sure if i will like the colour as much once it on. So might have to be less picky i guess!
  2. Hi All Are there any good GMT Pepsi's or Coke's in the older style? I see several on Trusty that look pretty good but both have some small flaws one looks to have a good case without the strange chamfering on the shoulders but is using the wrong hand type for the GMT hand, it has a correct hand stack, but it looks like they have used the hands from a model that is not using the correct hand stack and so the GMT hand centre is larger than the hour hand, minor I know but a simple fix. The other one has the correct hand stack with the correct hand size and set up but the case has chamfered shoulders that are polished and do not look right, this might have been something on maybe an older version from years back but the shoulders should almost be flat with brushed top and polished sides. Some of the other ones look to be ok but do not have CHS and also have the engraved rehaut, would prefer to have this plain. ROLGMT113 look to be pretty much spot on apart from that it is the incorrect hand stack but the case and bracelet look to be good ROLGMT168C again looks to be pretty much spot on but the hand are the wrong sizes for the stack order as mentioned above ROLGMT0238C is another one that look really good apart from the edges on the case On another note is it possible to fit genuine bezel inserts on any of these? Also I wouldn't mind the version that has lug holes in the case either but I had a Gen sub of that ear and the bracelet tended to feel a bit tinny! It could just be the pictures of the model used for the images (like the ones with the incorrect hand sizes as maybe it was what they had at the time,) Anyone bought one of any of those and got some pics would be cool, I would have thought by know the attention to the small details would not be a thing anymore only down to manufacturing capability, but consider all 3 have all the right parts just not in one watch is somewhat annoying. Cheers
  3. Hi guys anyone know why the day date with a white dial with Roman Numerals in white gold / stainless never has the correct thickness minute markers? Not sure what it's officially called but it looks like the track that runs close to the rehaut. I can find it correct on the burst style dial but otherwise it is always too thick! Either dd1 or dd2 All the best P
  4. Yeah I thought that too but had a look around and its an option for the Daydate model only or so it seems, its just a [censored] to find! might have a word with some of the dealers, it sounds like a good plan. Cheers anyway Paul
  5. Hi All I have a White face Day Date with Numerals white gold and platinum and want to know if anyone knows where I can get hold of an oyster bracelet with the concealed clasp, I have the president at the mo and have tried the bracelet from a rep daytona on it and it looks great but I would rather have a straight through oyster bracelet with the concealed clasp as I think it looks more understated. Any ideas where I can get a decent one from without paying the earth? Pic attached Many thanks Paul
  6. HI Chap Looks good, does he have any other models available like the N96? also how do I go about getting one? Cheers P
  7. Cheers guys this is what I thought might be the case the Navi I have is great for everything else but the stopwatch functions in digital is easier as I am from the digital age and a computer nerd by trade! Might have to browse through Ebay then for an aerospace, I am pretty happy with them in general and would like to keep with tradition and the whole flying heritage! Cheers chaps
  8. Hi Guys I dig the site, I didnt know there were so many others like me who are particular about replicas as me! I have a genuine Navitimer and a Submariner and have normally bought a good rep first before making a genuine purchase, now I am in the market for and Breitling Aerospace as I am learning to fly now and must admit I am pretty lazy when it comes to working out hours for my log book! So I thought I'd go for the Aerospace for the digi display and what with most of the reps out there being pretty good quality now I wondered if anyone know any where that does them as I havent seen any around for a while. Or if ayone else has a good alternative. Cheers chaps Paul
  9. Hi Guys and gals Im new to this site but it looks pretty cool. I have always been a Rolex man and have had reps and currently have a real sub, but I have always loved Breitling Navi's since I was a kid and I have now started flying so thought I should get one I have anyone got any ideas who does the best without being a genuine one I have a second hand one but really want a Navi. I got a rep from a site and im am very picky and it is near as damn it but the date wheel is not tight as on the gen and the mech asian 7750 sounds a bit tinny anyone got any ideas who is best? Cheers for you help and sorry if this has been posted before i couldnt find it and it wasnt as if i didnt look. Cheers P
