  1. Hey I found a good-info. My watchsmith said that he can make the date wheel more thick so I would look less recessed! (As per Gen) I will try this one and then post it later. ThankS!!
  2. Dear Friends. I am in Korea and it is my first time writing in Panerai forum. Well recently I bought PAM 329L from Andrew. He is good guy, and I am satisfied with most part of the watch. One concern is the DW. As you know, DW of REP PAM 329L is pretty much recessed. I enclose pictures of my watch. I took the picture with Iphone 3GS. The macro is not that good. Anyway, does it look more recessed compared to normal REP 329?, How about compared to GEN PAM 329? I read that GEN PAM 329 is somewhat recessed as well. Oh, Mine has A7750 as workhorse. I am wondering if Andrew's another choise-Seagull movement is better choice for better DW? There is $20 GAP between two model (model with A7750 and model with Seagull movement.) Maybe $20 GAP is for better DW? Does anyone have any idea on this? Thank you very much!!!
  3. Thank you for kind advise.. Well I changed my order to item number 17642 - the automatic one. And finally I got the watch from watch. But.... the movement is real crappy one. It is very much unreliable. I will send it back to watcheden and just go for a quartz one with wrong dial. Thanks.
  4. Wow. That's great news, pal! Hats off to Mary!
  5. looks great on your wrist!! Congrats!
  6. Ok. Omega Speedy has been my holy grail. I found the info here that watcheden has the decent quartz speedy.(Best subdial spacing, and reasonable price) So I contacted watcheden and they confirmed me that item number 18479 - (the exact watch that was posted here as best speedy) is in stock now. I ordered and paid my bill. Bad news. They now tell me that the factory changed the subdial as included picture. As you can see, they switched subdial printings. 24 hour subdial... Well subdial spacing is still ok, but 24 hour subdial? What shall I do? 1. Just receive the watch and have my local watchsmith to re-do the dial printing. 2. Cancel the order. Thanks! Jason
  7. Well, the clasp is very poorly constructed. It even would not lock. I had to visit local watchsmith. Other than that,, many screws are bad. They would not screwed in. The worst part is.. when I screw the back tightly to the front bezel, now the rotor is not moving. So I have to keep the screws in the back pretty loose. I am sure it is the latest version. Is it just mine?
  8. Dear All, I got mine from Angus. Well, it looks pretty but, overall quality of case is very poor. I cannot recommend this watch.
  9. Hi Paul

  10. Hi. Are you reffering a Korea-Based watch dealer? His site has name as "Shine Watch" shinewatch3.com you need to sign in to see what is inside. If you ask me, I will look it up for you Best Jason
  11. Hi Guys. This is Jason from Korea. Last time, I asked about making a watch dial look "vintage" and your tips were more than helpful. Thanks again, watch gurus!! Now, I ordered WM9, a refurbished submariner 31 JAN 09 and George, who runs the shop replied I would get the watch around 23 Feb 09. So I waited. (I hoped I could buy it from BK but he could only sell his WM9 watch within CONUS, so I went straight to WM9) Since I did not get any shipment info or tracking number until 27 Feb 09, I send another E-mail, and post a topic in WM9 forum. But George only replied that they were having trouble in responding all the e-mails and he would send me my watch 2 Mar 09. Today is 3 Mar 09 and still no shipment info or e-mail reply from WM9. I understand WM9 has more request than they can handle. But just a decent E-mail reply is too much to ask? If they are overflowed with request and orders, shouldn't they hire more people and be more responsible? In their homepage, they declare they will respond to an Email with in 24 hours max 48 hours during week-days. Is there anyone who knows what's going on in WM9? Of course I know they are one of those Watchmakers who produce best rolex replica watches.... but waiting without time-limit is very much painful, especially if you have to wait more than a month after payment. hmmm.. let me wait couple of days more and I will let you konw what happens. By~~
  12. Hi. I'm a noob here and trying my best to learn from this forum. (So, please be kind ) Well, I am big fan of vintage rolex submariner and sea-dweller. I bought this beautiful vintage double red sea-dweller from "Trusty" or Andrew. I love this watch, but... The lume of the dial is looking brand new and glossy and the printed letters on dial also shiny and glossy. I want to make this watch look real vintage. I guess I need to make the dial matte and lume to not-glossy. I tried to search this forum with keyword such as "vintage", "wear-out", "dial" but I could not find right guide or pictorial how to make a dial look vintage or worn-out. So can somebody help me find right post for this issue? Thank! and Happy Chinese New Year to all members in this forum.
