The handpost is loose... not the tube on the cannon pinion. You need to remove the hand and use a loupe. Glue the hand and post.

Rocketeer/Chief, sounds like a plan! I also had an idea of an EU run for Chief, but if you would front it, it's much better, being a pro and all... I was a little worried of doing the legwork, as I'm away very much during the race season, april-october, didn't want to do something that can't completed in a timely fashion (K2222, TTK etc...).

I can't answer regarding the dial feet, but I suspect they're the same, as the DG is a copy of the Miyota 8215. The hands ARE the same, that I know. I would change to a Miyota, my 2c anyway (either

Yes, you are right about that, but the adapter is just that, an adapter... With a gen movement, which you have, then it fits straight in, with no mods and no adapters... Good luck!

You unscrew the small screw in the back to get to the stem release button, press that and pull out the stem. Then unscrew the four larger ones in the front to take away the crystal, flip the watch over and you should have the movement in your hand.
