Hi chaps, new to the forum so thought I would introduce myself. My name is Luc and I’m based in the UK. Firstly, incredibly impressed with the wealth of info & expertise here. I’ve registered on the other RWG too and the amount of info I have covered over the past few days is bordering on ridiculous! My pursuit of (obsession with) a Breitling Navitimer is what has brought me here. I’ve just graduated from University so a gen Breitling is a bit out of my budget for now. My first attempt to get something close was a Rotary Chronospeed, an homage to the Navitimer. Unfortunately it’s far too lightweight and too small for what I wanted, even compared to my old £250 Armani watch (I know, don’t shoot me). Having read more about the difference between Quartz and Automatic, I now realise I definitely want an auto. I gather the Navitimer isn’t the most accurate rep, but I’m prepared to live with its shortcomings to have the next best thing to a gen on my wrist. I have a few questions that are quite specific about Navi reps. Would I be best to post these here or in the Breitling section? Cheers for the help and look forward to getting involved!

Im not the guy to talk to when it comes to making reviews or shooting awesome pictures. So i will do a quick write-up about my latest Pam. This is the n00b Panerai 112m with same case, CG, AR etc as the famous 111. Version 2 or 3, who knows. Its the latest Bought this from Trevor. Great price and spacerocket speed shipping. From sender to buyer (me) in three days! Took two weeks to conclude payment, qc pics etc but all in all it took the same time as from any other TD. I have recently sold my H-maker 390 so i will compare this 112 with that. This does not mean that this is a true comparison H vs. N, but it might help someone. N00b strong points: Crownguard. Its sooo much better then the one on my 390. Lever pin is much tighter and no "floppiness". The inner walls is square and straight. The CG feels tighter to the case as well. Lume: Now this might not be a fair to compare the 112 against the 390. The 390 has vintage lume which does not glow as much. This 112 is so much stronger and lasts longer. I do like the lume color of the 390 better though. H-maker strong points: AR. I had a hard time taking pictures of the 112 dial. It has a lot of reflections compared to the 390. The H-maker AR is just awesome. Im almost wondering if the 112 comes without AR. All in all i love this 112m. My love is for base models. I feel this 112m from N00b is perfect.. if it could have a little stronger AR. Now on to a few pics: P.s This watch has the low bar A. Seems its a shot in the dark if you get a watch with low bar A or not. Does it bother me? Nope H-maker 390:
