JamesJackson
Can anyone post some close up pics of an unmodded MBK DRSD dial? And by the way how is the lume on this dial?
seal63
I have an MBK 1665 GWSD,arrived yesterday from Eurotimez (excellent service supplied ). In the darkness you can see only the dials and the bezel pearl, the hourmarkers are completely "extinguished"(excuse for my bad english... ) I think on the DRSD probably it's the same. Cheers. chubbchubb
... I wanted to post a pic and found out that strangely enough, this is probably my only rep of which I don't havy any picture at hand. ... aside from that - forget the lume, there is none. The hour markers are white paint, no glow. In a certain way this is accurate for a vintage watch as the original luminous compound on a gen would have died quite some time ago. ShawnBeever
And by the way how is the lume on this dial? The lume does light up dimly and is fairly similar in brightness to the old gens I have with tritium dials. If you want to tell the time at night you will need to have it relumed or buy a seiko. In day light a relume will look better but at night or when you walk from the sunshine into a dark room it’s a bit of a give away.
