The Honpo version has the markers screwed on from under the bezel (just like the gen). The real problem with the Honpo version is the markers are made of copper then chrome plated. If you scratch or scrape them the copper will shine through. It is also not advisable to polish them either!!! The cheaper 187 has better finished markers (not so tall and with the correct rounded edges) but stuck on with glue and not sure if they are steel or copper!!!
