meatwad
OK - so much like all SA reps, the lume dots on mine are like little anthills. Of course the dial can be swapped with a gen (for about the price of the rep itself) or maybe a relume. As I have no issues taking apart a watch or working with very small precision tools - I was thinking about shaving the lume dots with one of my tiniest files. Has this been done? Is this part of a standard lume service for an SA?? I searched " Shaved lume dots" but had no hits. I put this to y'all to see if I have slipped into madness or if I am correct in my assumption that it can be done and look good. PS - I have a whiteface - numeral

RWG Technical
Attempting to shave the dots down will probably end up causing damage to the dial. The only practical solution is to completely remove all the old lume, then apply new lume dots and flatten them out.
