dabom Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 I have a watch with hands that have no lume. The hands have a triangular cross-section, in other words it is raised down the middle which "slopes" downward to the sides of the hand. (in other words, the hands are not flat but are raised down the middle). So I suppose you could put a layer of lume on the raised middle part, as long as it looks even. People who have lumed before: what do you think? Thanks in advance!!

Normally when you lume a hand it is done from the back and surface tension hold the lume in the cut-out of the hand. To paint it directly onto something is different as the get it to look neat will be a problem. The lume is like painting with honey not paint.
dabom Posted August 17, 2006 Author Report Posted August 17, 2006 dang - I guess the answer is no. Just imagine the hands from a JLC Master Moon, without any cutout for the lume.
