4square
Just thought I'd share a few picks of my Admiral's Cup Competition 48 with you guy's. I bought this watch back in December of 2008 from a member on another forum. I finally got this Gen band to fit yesterday. I'm not saying it took that long to mod it just this long to gain the courage to have a GO at it!
kronos twin
wow, that's a nice looking watch. How big are your wrists? You wear it well. Enjoy.
shultz
Congrats! Very nice combo. May I ask you how much the bracelet was?
4square
My wrists are 7 3/4" and this 48 is as large as I would want to go. The look is MASSIVE but the weight of the Ti makes it acceptable. I stumbled upon the band on ebay. It was some time ago but I think I paid around $120 + shipping. It was someone's everyday bracelet and needed refinishing, (took about 20 min on an artifex wheel). For those who do not already know the Gen bands will not fit on the Rep watch. The holes in the lugs are about 2.5 mm higher than the Gen watch so some modification is required to fit this combo together. The watch looks amazing with the bracelet what modifications did you do to fit the strap?

4square
You made a good deal on that strap man. The watch looks amazing with the bracelet what modifications did you do to fit the strap? I had to check back on the price I stated, it just sounded too cheap but it's been a while. I found the eBay sale that I saved and it was actually in November last year and i was the only bidder, it sold for $135 and $10 shipping. (Not bad at all in my book) As for the modding, well I probably should have taken some pics of the progress but instead I just jumped right into it. All that was really required was to use a carbide bur grinding bit in a dremel tool to grind the lug holes lower. Then I mixed up some JB Weld and just filled the holes with it, and placed the band with the spring bar in it back into position on the lugs. I let that set up for 48 hours. Everything is in place and very tight
