Gadgeguy2009
Hello all, I have received yesterday my Raymond Weil Nabucco (A7750 movement). It is a great watch, and so far it looks there is no urgent need for service, at it seems to run fine. However: the date wheel is misaligned (it is not centered correctly). For example today, instead of showing 11 in the middle of the date window, I see the 11 towards the edge of the date window and the bottom of the 12 is also visible. I have tried to adjust the date manually to see how it looks for other days, and it seems that for all days it is the same. The actual number is not perfectly centered in the date window. Is this something that a watch expert can easily fix (by maybe repositioning the date wheel)? Or should I send it back for a replacement? As always: thank you for your advice! ubiquitous
Probably not going to be able to align the existing datewheel, but you can always have a Swiss ETA 7750 datewheel installed in it's place...
RWG Technical
As Ubi correctly pointed out, there is no adjustment for a datewheel, it's fixed in position and not moveable. Probably misprinted, or the dial is misaligned, if it's a chrono then the dial can't be moved either, or the chrono subdials get out of alignment. An ETA datewheel would probably fix it...
