Retrospect and regret...

Ever have a piece that you once had, sold and have regretted since?

I do... And it's a Royal Oak Back in 2005, I picked up a great 36mm Nick Faldo Royal Oak from River; a beautiful piece and one that I would later find to haunt my dreams and thoughts, as it's one that I let get away. If I've regretted the sale of any of my watches, this one would be at the top of that list.

Hey Maciek,

I ended up taking it apart to try and refinish it, but never got around to it. Since the RO has a very particular finish with crisp edges and transitions, I felt it better that I leave it be. One of these days, I hope to find someone that specializes in case finishing and go from there...
