repfreak
I fondled with the idea of having a vintage movement for my next project. I just cant find molnija movements on the bay However, I found some vintage Hamilton movements. Assuming they can fit 6497 hands, is it worthwhile to buy them from the bay and have them serviced? Thanks for all the help needed..
ubiquitous
Zigmeister did a Hamilton 921 swap into a Fiddy case; it was not a straight swap, however. The hands are not a direct fit, so the pinions have to be modified. Also, the case has to be milled to fit the slightly larger movement. More details can be found here.
