So there was me thinking id give it a whirl and try to make a franken project for my omega SMP black , the model i have has a good case and i managed to re lume the hands very well... (by the way its dead easy with non painted metal finish hands.. you can be pretty messy putting it on.. one wipe with some solvents lume gone from the metal sections of the hands only left perfectly in the lumed bit..!!) all good so far ... but i'd only gone and bought the wrong dial... its the quartz version..!! But it all looks so great that i though what the hell i'll make a franken quartz version.... So this is were i need some help..!! Found the perfect movement a:- ETA/ESA 955.412/4 Replaced By F05.111 Ligne Size 10.5, height 2.5, handsizes 70/120/20, functions: Date at 3, Uses: 3 hands, and cell 371. Swiss made gold plated movement. dead cheap $17.00!!!! and some gen hands.. :- Genuine Omega Hour And Minute Hands For Model 2264.50.00 Caliber number 1538 which is quartz and that is the same as ESA 255.461. The correct hole size is 70/120 and 14.0/9.5 mm long my lovely relumed ones wont fit the quartz movment But this is were you guys and our vast (hopefully shared) knowledge comes in..!! i need a white numbers on a black back drop date wheel. The one i have for the rep is for a automatic movement .. wrong window placement..! Or alternatively if anyone knows were i can get a gen (thats not hundreds of bucks) or dam good lume rep automatic dial from that would be even better...!! Heellppp..!!!! Cheers .. Millertime..
