Removing the crystal from Timewalker for Chief AR run

I just bought my first reps (from Josh and Tony) this month and I can say I'm very pleased (I'll post pics and reviews later). However the Montblanc Timewalker needs Chieftang's AR services urgently. Since this is my first try at doing all the work (removing the mechanism, domed crystal, etc.) I must say I'm more then a little concerned

Does anybody have experience doing this type of work with the Timewalker? I'm getting Chief's press but I need some guidance with the process.

The Timewalker caseback is screwed and it's a chrono which may be more difficult to do this without messing it up.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe the Timewalker movement and dial come out the top of the case, rather than the bottom... After getting past that hurdle the rest should be smooth sailing.

Oh, so how would I remove the crystal then? It would appear I have to get the crystal out before getting to the movement.

I was just reading a review on the TW and apparently the gen has a single AR that's not very strong. I'm wondering if it's worthy to get AR at all on the rep.
