gioarmani
Seeing how I don't own one of these, maybe someone can help me here... All the pics of the new-style cerachrom (ceramic) GMT 2's I see look like they have very sharp corners (SELs, etc.), as they should; the SEL to lug fits is sharp,, snug & nice as is the rest of the over-all quality of the GMT. 1) My question is, are the cases & bezels the same on the ceramic GMT II and the ceramic Submariner? The reason I ask is, I own the new blue ceramic submariner and the SEL lug fit simply looks lacking to me. The edges of the lugs near the SELs seem rounded, the band's fit to the case isn't tight as it should be, and even the SEL's middle link's edges appear rounded: 2) Long and short of it: does any one know for certain--under the hypothesis that the cases are both the same--if I can simply get the new ceramic GMT II, and swap my movement with dial into that case & swap the bezel inserts as well? Any help is greatly appreciated. As a plus, if anyone owns both of these watches and could do a pic comparison here, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
