landwomble Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 This might be a silly question, but looking at the POrikaa I have (well, had: it's unfortunately had a stuck date wheel which he's sorting out for me) the steel bracelet pins for the removeable links don't have the arrows on (as per my gen seamaster) to indicate direction of removal. Should I assume they remove in the same direction as the gen?
arniezac Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 If memory serves, when I had mine there were some red arrows on the wrapping around the strap. Unfortunatley I threw the wrapping away before I sized the bracelet. I do remember that the pins were very stiff and a removal tool was purchased for a few
signumboy Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 I doubt there is a right or wrong answer to this as its going to be down to luck. I had the same situation, if you look at the pin holes, one side the pins look flush the other they look slightly sunk. I guessed that the flush side was the direction they went in as they were tapped flush . It was a guess and it did work. good luck .
mtv2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Gave mine to a local watchsmith and let him deal with it...picked it up 2 hours later and cost me
