Omega Seems To Be Going Rlx Way

Based on the TZ post below, Omega may be shifting their retail distribution to upscale boutiques and limit access to their watches. It seems they are attempting to boost the image of the brand and at the same time, seriously curb mail order & discounting practices.

I believe Rlx followed a similar path in the late 80s-early 90s. If you're looking for a gen and can get a good discount from one of the smaller ADs, it may not be a bad time to jump. Unfortunately, good things do often come to an end.

I think this is posted in the correct subforum. I think it's only logical to post Omega discussions to Omega subforum (gens or reps, imho). I think the subforum should be a general "Omega section" (like in TRC) instead of just Omega "photo gallery". We had a discussion about this a while back.
