It really seems like a unique service, and perhaps useable for my needs. So does anyone have any experience with them? If so, what do you think about them? My first attempt was to create a copy of genuine Pam CG lever: I never pursued this one, because I wasn't confident that the curves were smooth enough. Then I designed an engraving pattern for the Pam logo: When I tried to order this, I found out that the effective minimum order was about $200. Also, the program came up with plenty of reasons why my design was too complex to machine. If the side walls are angled, then it would need to be cut with a ball-nose mill. This will leave a radius on the floor, but that can be picked out with a smaller end mill during the final pass. My concern would be tolerance. Do they guarantee the tolerance will be held and do I get to assign those tolerances? There is just too much variances that I would want to be in control of. CAD software tolerance, machine setup, cutter selection and CAM programming. Crown guard would be pretty easy to machine requiring 4 setups and a fixture.
