Need help with my HBB

Seems that I have a lot of problems with pushers! lol

The little rubber pieces on both pushers came off. I read about this problem somewhere else too, just wondering if there was any solution for it?

Also I have been told my various dealers that there are different quality of bands for the HBB for the different variations we have and 100 USD for a rep rubber band seems a bit steep. Has anyone tried the "cheaper" bands which I think Angus sells for 50 dollars or so? I would think they are interchangeable.
