No idea.

If as I suspect the jewel has fallen out, it needs to be located and could be wedged somewhere inside the movement.

I would not wind it or do anything else to it until someone looked at it. It could also be that the top balance staff pivot is broken off...

Where are you in the world that way we may be able to direct you to some one who can help

i'm in australia. well i dont want to fix it if its gonna cost me an arm and a leg.

Probably a simple fix for any one with any kind of experience on unitas style movements, have you rand round local watch smiths and inquired if they would work on some thing not quite legit.
