HauteHippie Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Submariner-Re-Lu...1QQcmdZViewItem "The auction requires you to send us your watch. We will re-luminous the markers and hands to match in color." Seems fishy.
leitztozeiss Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Nothing fishy about Helflands. I've purchased numerous items from them, though I'm not sure how they would handle receiving a rep for reluming.
mikellem Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 I agree with Leitzozeiss, Helfands is a very credible source!
Finepics Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 A lot of people sell a service on ebay - it's not at all unusual.
HauteHippie Posted August 28, 2006 Author Report Posted August 28, 2006 (edited) A lot of people sell a service on ebay - it's not at all unusual. Well I guess with the feedback this seller has I shouldn't have been taken aback. But it still seems like a pretty big leap of faith to send a $4K watch to a random/unknown person on Ebay to me. If anybody is interested in getting a rep relumed from Helflands but is unsure they will do it, they will. I sent them an e-mail and directly asked. They told me the procedure is the same and to feel free to send the rep in.

Warrcraft Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 What is their email address? This is their web sight: http://florida-watch.com/contact%20us.htm e mail: sales@florida-watch.com and telephone: +1 (727) 327-1100 Their business name is Florida Watch and Jewelers Supply
Warrcraft Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Ohhhh, I think they are no longer a registerd user on eBay so I don't believe you will be able to find them on there anymore. They had great customer feedback, but I suspect they may have had IP issues with Rolex perhaps, but that is only a guess.
gioarmani Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Awesome--these people are only 45 minutes from me!
