Highflyingclive Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 I read your original post - and promptly threadlocked my He valve. Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. I hope that Jos will be able to help you. The SMP is a wonderful watch...
stenofsweden Posted August 28, 2006 Author Report Posted August 28, 2006 First things first... Did you ask Joshua if he could get you another HEV? Joshua is always very service minded , but he didn’t have a spear parts for the SMP
kdo2milger Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Joshua is always very service minded , but he didn't have a spear parts for the SMP Thats too bad... I wonder if you could find one on ofrei that would work...
madmex Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Looks like you may have to purchase a crown and tube, and have it installed. You would have to open the watch and pull out the part that resembles the valve in order to unscrew the threads and screw/glue in the new tube... then reattach the valve to the new crown, and screw it in. Ofrei probably has the parts.
