By-Tor
Most photographs you see of anything are photoshopped. Photoshopping is merely the last stage of taking a photo. Exactly. People who say that "I'll do it all with the lense" make me laugh. They're simply liars, or then their photos are nothing to write home about. All "top watch photographers" are frequent PS users. Every single one of them. You simply HAVE to use it... sometimes not much is required but you need the last adjustments. PS is that very important "last step" that changes a good picture to excellent. Another stupid mistake is to think that PS makes anyone's pictures "spectacular". It's ESSENTIAL to have a good setup and good base picture to work with. PS: Welcome back (again).
jazz4ivo
Well a "true" RAW file from a DSLR does not open as a JPG at all. Also most fashion houses work with RAW and TIFF formats which can then be saved as JPGs or other files. TIFF vs BMP vs JPG http://www.tabletopstudio.com/documents/watch_photography.htm http://www.mkdigitaldirect.com/tips/new-tips/watch_photography_tips.html
