Need Help with Search Function

We tend to tell Noobies to use the search function prior to asking very common questions, but I am struggling to use the current search engine myself. As an example, when putting in "watch winder" it finds everything associated with the word watch in the title or text body, but does not narrow the search to posts which have both words. Maybe I need to learn HTML? I also put "watch+winder" in an effort to narrow the search. What am I doing wrong here? Help?

I have the same problem. I usually go to the section I think it will be under and then do it that way.
