pollux1
Hi all, I have an ETA 6497, recently serviced. It was bought recently and it seems the screw retaining the ratchet click came loose during transit, I tightened it but it still won't stop itself from unwinding. Any help is hugely appreciated. FxrAndy
I would say that with out seeing it that the click spring is out of position and thus not pushing the click into position to block the winding wheel. A simple fix, but you have to make sure you put the spring in the right way round. I f you can post a close up photo we should be able to confirm it

pollux1
I removed the click screw and repositioned the spring but it just won't stay in place, is there a knack to it? Thanks Andy and all for taking the time to read and reply.
