lionsandtigers
So, I aquired a mbw drsd rollie from a fellow collector, and I was in the process of changing out the bezel insert when i noticed it was in fact glued into the bezel. I dont know who did this, and i dont care, its really no big deal, but i do want to get it out without destroying it so i can pop my new insert in. Any suggestions on how to get this done cleanly? bruce79
Inserts are often glued to the bezel on reps...even mbw's I suppose. Just take a screwdiver and pry it up gently from the inside/underside of the bezel. It should come up fairly easy...then you must clean the glue off of the bezel. 2005SUBMARINER
use a blower to melt the glue & use a 1mm flat head screw driver to clean off the remaining glue from the bezel groove where the insert use to be .

baltic
a blower??? like a hair dryer? Aye like ahair dryer, that's how I re-aligned the bezel insert on my SMP. Use the dryer on a medium setting for 20-30 seconds et voila!
Jetsons
Hey, J: Very easy to do and yes, the MBW inserts are glued to the bezel. A gen insert will snap in perfectly. Remove the bezel and soak it in water mixed with dish washing liquid . Let the bezel and insert sit for approx. one hour and the insert will separate from the bezel very easly with your fingers. This will also make an easy task of removing the glue residue from the bezel. Cheers, Jet
