concor Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 I just received my first rep and I have a hard time adjusting the strap. Are these screws or am I supposed to hammer them out with a nail? Thanks.
Toadtorrent Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 Yup...they're pins. Get a bracelet removal tool with a pin end...and lightly tap it out...or you can get a bracelet vice thing that will do it as well...
concor Posted January 1, 2010 Author Report Posted January 1, 2010 Ah I understand now. I looked up some posts and see how the pins work. I have to hit from the side that is not split. And I saw some 5 pound removal tools on ebay. Thanks!
concor Posted January 1, 2010 Author Report Posted January 1, 2010 It worked! I got a very small nail and a piece of wood with a hole in it. I tapped it out 3mm and could pull it out by hand after that. Thanks again for pointing me out how it worked!
