dakatana Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 No...it isn't the noemal life of the a7750...it will last as long as a gen 7750 if maintainance is good.Let's have a cleaning and lube from watchsmith and it will be fine for long time.
kornblomst Posted May 27, 2010 Author Report Posted May 27, 2010 ...hmmm funny thing happened. I dropped the watch on the floor, and suddenly started ticking again. I noticed when I tried shaking it , the rotor wouldn't move. So the only thing that worked was winding it. That worked for at couple of days, and I was happy again. But just yesterday, I heard that the rotor started to rotate upon shaking the watch, and I thought that I had a fully functional watch again...BUT NO! The watch stopped again (probably due to a used power reserve), and it did not start again no matter how much the rotor rotated! I tried winding the watch and noticed that I could wind forever without anything happening. ...Seems like something brok inside the watch or is this commonly seen with the A7750. Do you know if it's fixable? Thx /korn
gran Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 It can be fixed but it will cost you about 150USD or even more I think...
fakemaster Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Is this the expected lifetime for this movement? No. You didn't take care of it and it died. should I just buy a new one? Depends, Are you going to maintain it?
