Winding A 111h Swan Neck (working)

Greetings,

I received a new 111h with apparently a working swan neck movement the other day. I am not quite used to this movement but after reading the boards on this manual winding I think the movement has to be defective.

When I release the CG lever, the crown pushes automatically out as if it were on a spring. I then try to wind the crown and it changes the time. I was under the impression that you have to wind the crown from this state to get it going and then to change the time you have to click the crown one step out?

Also, when I wind the crown there is no tick winding, just quiet. Then, watch starts to move a little but then stops.

Sounds like something is wrong, correct?
